
Bank of Singapore names new head of Hong Kong’s investment solutions group
Joey Tang worked in the Bank of China (Hong Kong) and Citi prior to joining BOS.
Bank of Singapore has appointed Joey Tang as head of investment solutions group Hong Kong.
Tang will report to Vivienne Chia, global head of investment solutions group. His local reporting line is to Rickie Chan, head of private banking, Greater China, and chief executive, Hong Kong branch.
Tang is expected to spearhead Bank of Singapore’s product and solutions strategy for the Hong Kong branch across key areas such as capital markets, alternative investments and managed solutions, as well as lending advisory.
He will also be responsible for driving the bank’s innovation of product capabilities in support of the clients in the Greater China region.
Tang is an industry veteran with close to 30 years of experience in investment banking and private banking.
Before joining Bank of Singapore, he served as the head of Funds, Alternatives, and Solutions at Bank of China (Hong Kong) Private Banking.
Prior to this, Mr Tang served as the head of the Greater China region and the Head of Fixed Income, Commodities and Currencies for Citigroup Global Markets.
