Nomura appoints North Asia Head of Wealth Management

This is in line with the company’s goal to build its International Wealth Management business.

Dr. Rudolf Hitsch will be Nomura’s North Asia head of wealth management.

Hitsch reports to Ravi Raju, the head of International Wealth Management. 

Previously, Hitsch was the head of North Asia at Citi Private Bank. He was responsible for building its offshore mainland China and Taiwan private banking business and monitoring the growth of the Hong Kong business.

He has also worked at Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management in Hong Kong for more than 12 years.

Hitsch will be based in Hong Kong while he fulfils his new duties.

“We continue to attract top talent from the industry as we make significant investments in people and platform, and enhance our product and services capabilities while integrating our Global Markets and Investment Banking solutions for high-net-worth clients,” Raju said.
