StanChart rolls out digital assets trading service
It includes spot trading for Bitcoin and Ether through its UK branch.
Standard Chartered has launched a digital assets trading service for its institutional clients.
The offering includes spot trading for Bitcoin and Ether through its UK branch. The bank plans to introduce non-deliverable forwards (NDFs) trading next.
Standard Chartered said that the services’ roll-out makes it the first globally systematically important bank to offer deliverable spot crypto asset trading for institutional clients including corporates, investors, and asset managers.
The trading service is fully integrated in the bank’s existing platforms.
Clients can also settle their choice of custodian, including the bank’s digital assets custody solutions.
