ABC, Cathay United Bank sign cooperation agreement

ABC has signed a memorandum of understanding with Cathay United Bank to enter into broad cooperation in several areas.

 

These include corporate banking, investment banking, treasury operations, trade finance, cross-border RMB settlement, credit card, wealth management, e-Banking, bancassurance, information exchange and personnel training.

The MOU helps to promote trade relations and financial cooperation across the Taiwan Strait, enhance ABC financial services to Taiwan customers and further tap into the Taiwan market.

Mr. Xiang Junbo, Chairman of Agricultural Bank of China Limited, and Mr. Gregory Wang, Chairman of Cathay United Bank Co., Ltd., signed the MOU for cooperation on behalf of their respective banks.
