Mizuho Bank names new global transaction banking head

Hidekatsu Take will remain head of global corporate & investment banking.

Mizuho Financial Group (MFG) and Mizuho Bank have announced Hidekatsu Take as head of global transaction banking in the two firms, effective 30 November 2025.

Take is currently head of global corporate & investment banking in both MFG and Mizuho Bank. He will retain his current position while taking over the global transaction banking unit in MFG and the global corporate and investment banking division in the bank.

He is a member of the board of directors, deputy president, and corporate executive of MFG; and a managing executive officer at Mizuho Bank.

He will take over from Tsutomu Yamamoto, who has resigned from the role.
