BEA unveils revamped smart banking app

It features a platform which can manage activities from travel, investment, and education.

The Bank of East Asia has unveiled a revamped version of its mobile application which marks the launch of integrated smart platform i-Planner.

The i-Planner is able to plan a wide range of banking and lifestyle activities including travel, investment, mortgages and even education, according to a press release.

It features links related to banking services like travel insurance, currency exchange, activation of overseas ATM cash withdrawal and bill payment reminders.

“BEA always strives to enhance the functionality of the BEA App by integrating the banking and daily needs of customers, so they can manage their personal matters through a single app,” said BEA general manager Vincent Hui.

The app also offers enhanced features including an instant account balance settlement and fast trade order placement for stocks.
