CIMB Niaga launches two AI agents for bank staff

The agents will assist financial planning staff and service teams.

PT Bank CIMB Niaga Tbk, Google Cloud, and Artefact has launched artificial intelligence agents (AI agents) to help CIMB Niaga’s bank staff offer tailored advisory and guidance for customers’ financial goals.

Two new primary agents were built by the collaboration: a relationship manager AI agent, and a contact center AI agent.

The relationship manager AI agent will synthesize daily market sentiment and financial trends. The agent will provide advisors with context needed to make financial planning and consultations deeply personalised to the customer.

The contact center AI agent will function as an intuitive, real-time partner for CIMB Niaga’s service teams. The agent works alongside staff during live interactions. It promises to give them “the most relevant procedural details or product specifications” as needed.
