CIMB Securities upgrades online trading service with i*Trade@CIMB

It boasts of OneKey two-factor authentication feature.

In a release, CIMB Securities announced the launch of the new i*Trade@CIMB, the broking firm’s online portal offering investors an enhanced online trading experience.

CIMB is the first broker to house its online trading platform within co-location facilities at Singapore Exchange, thereby providing the fastest access to market data and trade execution systems.

CIMB is also the first broking firm working with Assurity Trusted Solutions to require the use of OneKey two-factor authentication (2FA) for added security.

i*Trade@CIMB provides investors with the investment tools and resources to effectively manage trading activity across various markets, initially Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Hong Kong and the US.

Access to other markets will follow shortly. The online service is available at no additional cost and gives investors exclusive access to CIMB’s award winning research with comprehensive coverage of regional equities in nine markets, which we believe is the largest coverage of stocks amongst retail brokers in the Asia Pacific region.

Investors preferring a more sophisticated online trading platform may opt for i*TradePro@CIMB, which provides exclusive proprietary trading, customisable market data and algorithm capabilities. i*Trade@CIMB is fully accessible on Android and Apple iOS.
