Standard Chartered unveils first-ever Global Fusion Centre in Malaysia
It is located in the bank’s Global Business Services hub.
Standard Chartered has launched a Global Fusion Centre in Malaysia, its first ever.
The Global Fusion Centre aims to integrate real-time insights and artificial intelligence (AI)-driven systems to enhance the operational resilience and strengthen digital trust, Standard Chartered said.
It is expected to improve Standard Chartered’s ability to respond decisively in real time, it added.
The new centre is located at the bank’s Global Business Services (GBS) hub in Malaysia, which was first established in 2001. GBS Malaysia supports Standard Chartered’s businesses across over 50 markets worldwide and is the bank’s second largest GBS after India.
GBS Malaysia has over 4,400 people employed.
