UOB inks MOU with Accenture for AI adoption and application

UOB will also upskill its employees.

United Overseas Bank (UOB) and Accenture have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to support UOB’s adoption and application of advanced technologies over the next three years.

The MOU will involve generative artificial intelligence (gen AI) and agentic AI.

UOB will tap Accenture’s suite of AI-powered assets to enhance its gen AI journey.

The end goal is to apply these AI solutions to enhance UOB’s business processes, productivity, as well as better manage risk and personalise customer experience at scale and speed, according to a press release.

UOB will also upskill and retrain its employees to equip them with the skills and mindset to adopt and use advanced technologies.

It is the first such collaboration between Accenture and a Singapore bank.
