Citi Philippines has new head

Batara Sianturi is the new Citi Country Officer for the Philippines and the Philippines/Guam Cluster Head.

Sianturi's appointment will take effect June 1. As Citi country officer, Sianturi will lead the Citi franchise in the Philippines. He is currently the CCO for Hungary and the Cluster Head for Hungary and 12 other countries in the Balkan & Baltic Regions in Central Eastern Europe.

He will replace Sanjiv Vohra who will move back to India.During his nearly 8-year term, Vohra achieved record success for Citi’s corporate and consumer banking businesses in the country.

Sianturi has an MBA, Finance from St John’s University and a Master of Chemical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, and Bachelor of Science degrees in Chemical Engineering and Polymer Science from Case Western Reserve University.
