Bank of China Singapore ties up with online retailer to launch co-brand credit card

The partnership means that cardholders can enjoy up to 20% rebate on Qoo10 spend.

Bank of China Singapore Branch (BOCSG) has tied up with local online retailer Qoo10 to roll out a co-brand Mastercard credit card, enabling cardholders up to 20% rebate on select retail spend.

The rebate, which can be used for dining and transport expenses, will come in the form of Qmoney, which is Qoo10’s own currency, and can be used to offset future purchases.

“The new Bank of China Qoo10 Mastercard card aims to reward and incentivise customer loyalty, bringing greater value to an ever-growing segment of savvy online shoppers,” said Qiu Zhikun, country head and general manager of BOCSG. “We will continue to use technology to create products that enhance the customer experience, while supporting Singapore’s vision for a Smart Nation.”

“This partnership with Bank of China helps us elevate our offerings for our database of more than 3 million registered users by allowing them to get more of what they love – better value and convenience even beyond the Qoo10 platform,” said Cho Hyun Wook, country manager at Qoo10 Singapore.
