Hong Leong Vietnam, Bac A Bank connect with Smartlink alliance

It is the first time a foreign bank in Vietnam, namely Hong Leong Bank, can make ATM transactions under the Smartlink system without any fees.



Smartlink Card Services Joint Stock Co officially announced the successful connection with Hong Leong Vietnam One-member Ltd Bank and Bac A Bank whereby the ATM system of these two banks will be connected with the Smartlink card alliance.

With this connection, all cardholders of Hong Leong and Bac A Bank will be able to make transactions such as money withdrawal, account check, Pin code change at any ATM machines of over 5,000 ATM machines under the Smartlink system including ATM machines of banks like Vietcombank, Techcombank, VIBank, MB, ACB and EIB.

In return, cardholders of Smartlink’s member banks will have more new options namely ATM at Bac A Bank and Hong Leong Bank.

Accordingly, Hong Leong Bank is also the first foreign bank in Vietnam being allowed to launch five transactions: money withdrawal, account balance check, account statement print, money transfer and PIN code change at ATM machines under the Smartlink system free of charge.
