Fintech Nium chosen to issue virtual cards for HappyEasyGo
Nium is able to fund and issue virtual cards in over 20 local currencies.
Singapore-headquartered cross-border payments firm Nium has been selected as the virtual card payments provider for HappyEasyGo, an India-headquartered flight and hotel booking platform.
Virtual cards issued by Nium will now be the digital standard for payments to HappyEasyGo’s travel suppliers, Nium announced in a press release.
Nium is able to fund and issue virtual cards in over 20 local currencies, significantly lowering foreign exchange conversion costs. Nium's travel payment solutions also include the ability to settle invoices within 2 days instead of the industry standard 30 days and customize payment account parameters.

HappyEasyGo CEO Boris Zha said that Nium’s virtual card issuances, available in multiple currencies, have streamlined its payment processes, reduced costs, and enabled the platform to offer better services to their customers.
“We look forward to continuing our work with Nium as we expand our business to more parts of the globe,” Zha said.
Nium had reported a 110% increase in revenue from its travel business in the APAC region.
In 2023, APAC had reached 65% of pre-pandemic travel levels.
