JCB has issued 1 million cards in India

RuPay JCB cardholders are eligible for a 40% cashback on select international transactions.

JCB International has issued a total of one million JCB Cards in India, according to a press release.

The credit and debit cards are issued by 12 public and private sector banks and co-badged as RuPay JCB Cards.

The card network company also shared that international spending using the Rupay JCB Card grew eight-fod between April to December 2022.

Currently, all RuPay JCB cardmembers are eligible for a 40% cashback on face-to-face transactions in Singapore, Thailand and Bahrain, with the maximum cashback amount per transaction set at INR3,000 INR. Each card can get a maximum of INR15,000 INR within the campaign period, which runs until 31 March 2023.
