Mizuho Bank, Rakuten launch co-branded card

Customers can earn up to 3% Rakuten Points when shopping.

Rakuten and Mizuho Bank are launching the Mizuho Rakuten Card, allowing Mizuho customers to earn Rakuten points.

The co-branded card comes with preferred benefits for banking transactions, and 1% in Rakuten Points when used for purchases, according to a press announcement posted on the Mizuho Bank website.

The card also comes with a Mizuho Mileage Club membership and a range of perks such as free ATM withdrawals and waived money transfer fees when using the Mizuho Rakuten Card.

The co-branded card will launch on 3 December 2024.

In the future, Rakuten and Mizuho Bank are planning to introduce an update for its mileage club as well as a new point service.
