Standard Chartered appoints Alan Naughton as global product head for investors & intermediaries

And Andrew Hempshall is global head of solution delivery & service, investors & intermediaries.

Standard Chartered has appointed Alan Naughton as Global Product Head, Investors & Intermediaries, Transaction Banking, and Andrew Hempshall as Global Head of Solution Delivery & Service, Investors & Intermediaries, Transaction Banking. Both Alan and Andrew are based in Singapore.

Alan reports to George Nast, Global Head, Product Management, Transaction Banking. In this role, Alan will lead the Bank’s product team for Standard Chartered’s entire suite of Securities Services offerings, covering Custody and Funds Services, Broker Clearing, and Agency Services.

Alan brings with him a wealth of banking and finance experience. Alan spent the most part of his banking career at JP Morgan, where in the last 20 years, he focused on the investor and fund services across many regions include Europe, Africa, Middle East and Asia. Immediately prior to joining Standard Chartered, Alan was the Head of Commercial Management for Global Funds Services.

Reporting to Russell Graham, Global Head of Solution Delivery & Service, Andrew will be responsible for the Bank’s solutions delivery and service proposition for securities services globally.

Andrew joins Standard Chartered from State Street Corporation where he was the Global Relationship Manager responsible for developing strategic alliances with clients and identifying innovative and integrated solutions to address clients’ needs. Before that, Andrew also held senior client servicing and securities lending roles at other financial institutions.

These appointments follow Standard Chartered’s recent launch of an integrated direct and regional custody platform for its investor and intermediaries clients, testifying to the Bank’s commitment to continue building out our capabilities to meet our clients’ needs.
