DBS unveils financing solution to boost SMEs’ sustainability ventures

The DBS Eco Renovate Loan allows SMEs to finance up to 100% of their expenses related to sustainability.

DBS has introduced a financing solution to support small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in their sustainability endeavours called the DBS Eco Renovate Loan. This allows SMEs to finance up to 100% of the expenses associated with resource-efficient or energy-optimised green renovation projects at favourable interest rates.

Businesses can also combine this loan with a conventional commercial loan to cover the complete renovation costs.

The Eco Renovate Loan adheres to internationally recognised Green Loan Principles and is part of DBS's comprehensive suite of financing options designed to encourage SMEs to adopt sustainability solutions.

To streamline the process, companies and contractors use a simplified checklist to identify, monitor, and implement sustainability initiatives during their renovation projects.

Companies must provide a pre-renovation checklist with supporting documents like quotations and post-project invoices as evidence of the work completed.
