DBS Bank inaugurates new headquarters

DBS Asia Central at Marina Bay Financial Centre Tower 3 houses the bank’s ‘customer-facing’ units.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Tharman Shanmugaratnam, DBS Chairman Peter Seah, and DBS Group CEO Piyush Gupta officiated at the inauguration ceremony on 17 October 2012.

According to the announcement by DBS, the new headquarters houses the bank’s customer-facing units, an innovative flagship branch, a state-of-the-art dealing room, and the first DBS Treasures Private Client Centre.

Meanwhile more than 4,800 DBS employees moved over 18 weekends to DBS Asia Central.
