Australia-based CoinJar lays foot on US grounds

The CEO remains confident despite regulatory risks.

Cryptocurrency exchange firm, CoinJar, has announced its US expansion.

The Melbourne-based firm said in a Twitter post Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Asher Tan saw an opportunity in US’ regulatory changes and is committed to making crypo accessible for all.

Referring to CoinJar’s website, a job posting for an AML Compliance Officer for the US reads “CoinJar is expanding to the US, and we are seeking an AML Compliance Officer”.

In an interview with a local media, The Australian, Tan said regulatory compliance has been a key role in the crypto environment and its future. Further, Tan emphasised his confidence in the US market.
