They will promote seminars, conferences, conventions, and training programs.
The Bankers Institute of the Philippines (BAIPHIL) and the Bankers Association of the Philippines (BAP) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) aimed at improving excellence in banking in the country.
“The partnership is designed to enhance capacity building among professionals from local banks and financial institutions, and support projects that reflect the shared advocacies of both organizations,” the BAIPHIL said in a statement posted on its official Facebook page.
The MOU is aimed at “fostering stronger industry partnerships” between the two. They are also expected to promote joint initiatives such as seminars, conferences, conventions, and training programs.
“Through this collaboration, BAP and BAIPHIL reaffirm their commitment to promoting excellence in banking, improving efficiency and effectiveness of financial services, and contributing to the continued stability of the Philippine financial system,” it added.
