Hong Leong Bank’s net profit down 9.36% to $223.41m in Q3 FY2025

Its profit for the first nine months of the fiscal year is up 0.71%.

Hong Leong Bank reported a net profit of $223.41m (MYR946.7m) in the Q3 period that ended on 31 March 2025, its latest financial statement showed.

This is 9.36% lower than the same quarter in the previous fiscal year.

Profit in the first nine months of FY2025 is $750.44m (MYR3.18b), a 0.71% increase from the corresponding period.

Basic earnings per share is 46.2 sen for the quarter, compared to 51 sen in Q3 2024.

Operating profit before allowances grew 13.2% year-on-year (YoY) to $689.08m (MYR2.92b).

Gross loans, advances, and financing grew 7.2% to $47.47b (MYR201.2b).
