Stripe Capital to launch in Australia

Over 1 million users in the ANZ region now run on Stripe, the company said.

Stripe Capital will soon be launched to eligible small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) in Australia.

Stripe Capital provides pre-approved loan offers using the clients’ data with Stripe, such as payments processing activity. Once a business sees its offer approved, funds are disbursed into their accounts in just one to two days, the company said in an announcement on 11 September 2025.

Stripe Capital is expected to roll out to Australian businesses in the coming months.

Over 1 million users—from global businesses to solo entrepreneurs— in Australia and New Zealand now run on Stripe, and “tens of thousands” are joining each month, according to Stripe.
