SMBC names Sridhar Srinivasan as APAC transaction banking COO
He will be based in Singapore.
Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) has appointed Sridhar Srinivasan as transaction banking chief operating officer (COO), Asia Pacific, effective immediately.
Srinivasan is tasked with overseeing and strengthening end-to-end translation banking capabilities of SMBC in APAC. He will be based in Singapore.
Srinivasa is expected to work closely with Shinichiro Yamazaki, head of global transaction banking department Asia Pacific, and partner IT and operations.
He brings over two decades of financial services experience, and has previously worked in Citigroup, Standard Chartered, and Accenture.
