Nomura Holdings’ net income up 17.5% to $700.2m in H1 FY2025

Its total revenue fell, but net income was higher.

Nomura Holdings has recorded a net income attributable to shareholders of $700.26m (JPY106.64b) for the six-month period that ended on 30 September 2025, its latest bourse filing showed. This is 17.5% higher compared to the same period in FY2024.

Total revenue fell by 5.8% to $15.23b (JPY2.32t), whilst net revenue is 10.8% higher at JPY1.04t.

Basic net income attributable to shareholders is JPY66.54 per share, higher than last year’s JPY56.63. The diluted net income is JPY64.53 per share for the period.

As of end-September 2025, Nomura Holdings’ total assets is at $396.44b (JPY60.37t), and total equity is at $23.71b (JPY3.61t)
