Krungthai announces maintenance affecting UnionPay debit card use

The card will be temporarily unavailable for use on 11 November 2025.

Krungthai Bank will conduct a temporary system maintenance on 11 November 2025, affecting Travel UnionPay Debit Card holders.

During the period, the Kungthai Travel UnionPay Debit Card will be temporarily unavailable for use through all international channels, including domestic EDC terminals and e-commerce platforms, the Thai bank said in an online announcement published 4 November 2025.

This includes transactions with overseas merchants such as Alipay, WeChat, Didi, Apple Store, Agoda, Trip.com, AirAsia, amongst others, Krungthai Bank said.

All other banking services will remain fully operational, the bank said.
