Metrobank appoints three new SVPs and heads
The new heads are for the trust banking group, internal audit group, and the transformation office.
Metropolitan Bank & Trust Company (Metrobank) has approved the appointment of three new senior vice presidents and group heads on 19 November 2025.
Ricardo Leon N. Pedrosa has been appointed senior vice president and head, Trust Banking Group of the Philippine-based bank. He replaces Angelica S. Reyes, who will transfer to another until of the bank, according to a filing in the Philippine Stock Exchange.
Pedrosa has 30 years of experience working in treasury sales and marketing, investment product and distribution, and client solutions, Metrobank said.
Babylyn A. Catacutan, meanwhile, has been appointed senior vice president and head of the internal audit group.
Catacutan has over 25 years of experience in internal audit. She has worked in audit initiatives across the APAC and the UK, Metrobank said.
Metrobank has also hired Jayakrishnan A. Nair as senior vice president and head of transformation office. Nair will join Metrobank in February 2026.
Nair has over 25 years of experience driving enterprise-scale innovation and business turnaround across Asia and the Middle East, Metrobank said in a separate bourse filing.
Nair is said to have successfully led multi-market redesigns for retail and commercial banks, structured governance and accountability framework, and orchestrated fintech collaborations that delivered low-CAPEX innovation plays and measurable commercial outcomes, Metrobank stated.
