Citi names Thai Nguyet Minh as markets head and country treasury for Vietnam

She joins from Maybank, where she was the Vietnam head of global markets.

Citi has appointed Thai Nguyet Minh as markets head & country treasurer for Citi Vietnam.

In her new role, Minh Thai will lead the development and execution of short and long-term strategies as she expands the Markets franchise in Vietnam, the bank said in a press release.

Minh Thai is also tasked with the management of the balance sheet and ALCO processes, and with meeting global and local regulatory requirements.

She will also monitor funding and liquidity for Citi Vietnam.

Minh Thai brings nearly two decades of experience working in Vietnam markets to Citi. She was most recently head of global markets for Vietnam in Maybank and was also head of global macro sales in BNP Paribas.
