KBank and Shizuoka mark 15 years of cooperation

The two banks have helped over 300 Japanese companies expand in Thailand.

Thailand’s KASIKORNBANK and Japan’s Shizuoka Bank have marked 15 years of cooperation.

The two banks now assist over 300 Japanese companies in establishing businesses in Thailand, said Kattiya Indaravijaya, CEO of KBank. When the cooperation first began, they started with only 15 Japanese companies.

“This cooperation also supports the growth of corporate clients across the remaining seven countries and economic territories of KBank, namely Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Cambodia, Laos, China, and Hong Kong. Thailand remains a key base, while ASEAN serves as the main platform for expanding regional growth,” Indaravijaya said.

The two banks reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening their business partnership with a goal of providing support to customers’ international business expansion.
