Citi names four new managing directors across Asia Pacific
Investment banking revenue in Japan more than doubled, it said.
Citi has promoted four individuals to managing directors in its Japan, Asia North & Australia, and Asia South investment banking businesses.
Koyu Mori of Japan; Ryan Li and Sam Sun of Hong Kong; and Varun Chokhani of India are now MDs, according to an announcement.
In Japan, Citi has had one of its best years on record supporting clients, with its investment banking revenue up over 100% year-on-year based on Dealogic data.
