MariBank launches gold investment in Singapore with $1 minimum

The fund invests in physical gold bars with a minimum purity of 99.5% and is stored in vaults in Singapore.

MariBank has launched a new gold investment product in Singapore, offering customers access to physical gold with a minimum investment of $1.

The digital bank stated that the product, Mari Invest Gold, offers exposure to the LionGlobal Singapore Physical Gold Fund through a newly created unit class, Class MariBank SGD Hedged (Acc), which is available exclusively to MariBank customers and is managed by Lion Global Investors.

Under the structure, Standard Chartered Bank Singapore acts as custodian and is responsible for the secure storage of the fund’s physical gold holdings.

The fund invests in physical gold bars with a minimum purity of 99.5% and is stored in vaults in Singapore, tracking the LBMA Gold Price AM benchmark.
