MUFG names Yoshi Katsuda as Middle East regional head

Katsuda was most recently part of the GCIB Planning Division in Tokyo.

MUFG EMEA has appointed Yoshi Katsuda as regional head for the Middle East, effective 20 September 2024.

Katsuda will be responsible for all operations in the region, operating from the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) branch.

Katsuda first joined MUFG 25 years ago. He was most recently head of the global corporate banking office in the GCIB Planning Division in Tokyo, Japan.

Prior to that, Katsuda spent three years as head of business strategy management in the DIFC branch, from 2018 to 2021.

He replaces Yohsuke “Ricky” Takahashi.

Katsuda reports to Hidefumi Yamamura, regional executive, MUFG EMEA.
