Diane Ferguson named Managing Director and Head of Financial Institutions at Mizuho

Will build the bank's financial institutions group practice.

Mizuho Bank said Ferguson’s other responsibilities include expanding the FIG client base and utilizing the entire Mizuho global platform to serve clients as part of the "One Mizuho" strategy.

Ferguson joins Mizuho with 25 years of experience in the financial institutions sector, having built relationships with a broad range of clients, including commercial banks, specialty finance firms, insurance companies, securities firms and asset managers.

She comes to Mizuho after spending the past 11 years with the Royal Bank of Scotland. Prior to that, she held senior positions in financial institutions at both Citigroup and BNY Mellon.
