Goldman Sachs Group CEO for APAC Ken Hitchner retires

He stayed with the firm for almost three decades.

Goldman Sachs Group Inc. chairman and CEO for the APAC region outside Japan Ken Hitchner is slated to retire by mid-2019.

According to a report by Bloomberg, has stayed with the firm for almost three decades. He first joined the company in 1991 and was global head of the health care banking group and global co-head of technology, media and telecom. He was promoted as the firm’s chairman in September 2017.

His departure would leave co-presidents for APAC outside Japan Todd Leland and James Paradise as the most senior executives in the region.
