CIMB Niaga to provide loans to 7-Eleven suppliers

CIMB Niaga will lend financial assitance to 7-Eleven suppliers.

An agreement has been signed between the bank and 7-Eleven franchisor PT Modern Putra Indonesia.

CIMB Niaga vice president director Catherine Hadiman said that the cooperation was part of the partnership between CIMB and Modern Putra.

Modern Putra CEO Henri Honoris said that 7-Eleven supplier PT Fresh Food Indonesia would be the first to enjoy the benefits of the package.

“7-Eleven has around 150 suppliers – all local and independent small and medium sized enterprises. We, the suppliers, could benefit from this program in the future,” Henri said.

Thus far, 7-Eleven, the world’s largest convenience store chain with more than 39,000 outlets worldwide, has 37 outlets in Indonesia, all located in Jakarta.
