Citi Philippines raises Home Credit’s facility to $14.3m

This is almost double the $7.36m it approved last May.

Citi Philippines has increased Home Credit’s credit facility to $14.3m (PHP820m), almost double the $7.36m (PHP420m) it approved last May.
 
Home Credit is touted as the largest consumer finance company in the Philippines, reportedly having already served 8.7 million customers’ financing needs all over the country.

From April to July of this year, Home Credit Philippines has already provided consumer  financing of over Php5 billion to almost half a million Filipinos to support their mobile device  purchases; of this number, 50% of those who availed are female customers, the company shared.

This transaction contributes to Citi’s $1t commitment to sustainable finance by 2030.
