Credilab gets Malaysia nod for online lending

It targets to approve and disburse loans in as fast as five minutes.

V Gallant Limited’s fintech partner Credilab Sdn Bhd. has received approval to operate as a fully online lending platform in Malaysia.

The approval advances V Gallant’s commercialisation of its artificial intelligence (AI)-powered lending infrastructure, it said.

V Gallant partnered with Credilab earlier in Q2 2026, and will provide the lending platform with AI infrastructure, workflow automation, and operating systems to support its lending operations.

Upon launch, Credilab’s online lending platform targets loan approval and disbursement in as little as five minutes.

Credilab’s lending business includes a loan portfolio of $37.1m (MYR150.9m).
