Deutsche Bank nabs Citi banker as head of global corp coverage in India

Manik Chhabra joins Deutsche Bank beginning 19 August.

Deutsche Bank has appointed Manik Chhabra as head of global corporate coverage for India and Sri Lanka, effective 19 August 2024.

Chhabra joins from Citibank, where he spent 22 years as a banker and has held leadership roles in the corporate banking business.

Most recently, he was the India head for mid corporates.

In his new role, Chhabra reports to Chintan Shah, head of corporate coverage, APAC and head of cash management sales, APAC; and to Kaushik Shaparia, CEO of emerging Asia and chief country officer of India.

Chhabra will also join the Deutsche Bank India Branch Management Board.
