Hong Kong central bank names deputy CEO for exchange fund investment office

Goh previously worked in Goldman Sachs and J.P. Morgan.

The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) has appointed Albert Goh as deputy chief executive officer for the exchange fund investment office, effective 1 November 2025.

Goh will be responsible for the overall investment management of the exchange fund. He reports to the CEO of the exchange fund investment office.

Goh will have a rank equivalent to an executive director.

He holds a law degree from the University of Birmingham, and a master’s degree in law from Jesus College, the University of Cambridge. He joined the HKMA in 2018. Prior to that, he was a managing director at Goldman Sachs and also worked at J.P. Morgan.
