Jenius partners with Zurich on in app travel insurance offering

Both products can be purchased fully digitally without the use of agents and with minimal documentation.

Jenius has partnered with Zurich to offer travel protection products directly within its app, expanding access to digital insurance services for travellers.

The collaboration introduces two products — Zurich Travel Guard and Zurich Visa Protection — which are available through the Zurich Edge Platform and integrated via API to automate quotations, premium calculations, and policy issuance.

Zurich Travel Guard provides trip-related coverage, including overseas medical and emergency protection of up to IDR1.5b, as well as benefits for flight delays, delayed baggage, and loss, subject to policy terms.

Zurich Visa Protection reimburses international visa application fees of up to IDR5m, with premiums starting from about IDR200,000.

Both products can be purchased fully digitally without the use of agents and with minimal documentation.

Policies may be bought for the user, family members, or other individuals. Customers can access the products in the Jenius app under the Assets section, via the Insurance menu.

The companies said the offerings are designed for digitally savvy travellers, providing coverage from the visa application stage through to the trip itself, whilst keeping the entire process within the Jenius ecosystem.
