Maybank Singapore unveils second lifestyle banking space

It features a biophilic design and has a Joe & Dough cafe at the entrance.

Maybank Singapore has unveiled its second lifestyle banking space, MSpace@Maybank Tower.

It is the second Maybank MSpace branch after Maybank MSpace@Orchard, launched in 2018.

MSpace@Maybank serves as the bank’s flagship lifestyle branch in the city, with the goal of making it a community space for their bankers to interact with customers.

“As we believe that banking goes beyond transactions, we have reimagined this space to transform our banking services on all fronts to be more responsive, engaging and highly personable to elevate our customer experience,” Maybank Singapore CEO Alvin Lee said in a statement.

The lobby of MSpace@Maybank Tower features Joe & Dough. The cafe space will double as an event space for thematic workshops, seminars, events, and gatherings for customers.

The interior has a biophilic design, including a preserved moss wall, pop-up plants, and preserved wood elements. The space also has unobstructed views of the Singapore River.

It also features custom-made cloud pendant lights by Japanese lighting specialist Yusuke Hattori.

There is also a media wall with 16 65-inch TV panels for customers and visitors to stay up-to-date on the news; and a self-playing grand piano.
