OCBC names Noel DCruz as Group Chief Risk Officer

He has worked for the bank for 33 years.

OCBC has appointed Noel Gerald DCruz as group chief risk officer, beginning 1 January 2023.

DCruz currently heads both the group risk portfolio management department and the group data management office. He has worked with OCBC for 33 years, and was closely involved in the reorganisation of the bank’s credit risk management structure,  the set-up of the Credit Risk Management Committee, and various specialised  risk management units.

He notably led the OCBC group programme to implement ratings-based andm odelling approaches for the bank’s credit profiles following the revision of the Basel Capital Management framework and later the International Financial Reporting Standards.

DCruz will be made a member of the management committee and the management executive committee.
