1 in 2 APAC consumers name financial wellness as top priority: survey

APAC Gen Zs rate financial wellness higher than other age groups.

Over 1 in 2 (57%) of Asia Pacific consumers ranked financial wellness as their top priority in life, according to data released by Personetics, an AI-powered personalisation and engagement solutions provider.

In a global survey of 2,000 consumers, a quarter of which are based in APAC, the study found that respondents ranked financial wellness as their top priority, ahead of health and wellbeing (49%) and family and relationships (48%).

Gen Z respondents in APAC—aged between 17-27— rate financial wellness much higher (65%) than other age groups.

APAC Gen Zs also show the greatest enthusiasm for these services, with 85% saying
they are “extremely” or “very interested.”

About 4 in 5 or 80% of the APAC respondents said that they would consider switching banks to receive more timely, relevant tips and advice that improve their financial health.

APAC respondents came from Australia, Japan, the Philippines, Singapore, and Vietnam.
