BEA unveils 2-Year ValueRaiser insurance plan

Application is until 11 January, 2014.

In a release, the Bank of East Asia announces the launch of the 2-Year ValueRaiser Insurance plan by BEA Life Limited, BEA’s wholly-owned life insurance arm. Customers may apply for the plan during the application period from now until 11th January 2014 to receive life protection while enjoying a guaranteed annual return as high as 2.4%.

The Plan is an endowment plan open to persons aged between three months and 65 years. Customers may enjoy a short premium payment period of just two years and life protection for five years.

Customers may also choose between a USD plan and a HKD plan, with guaranteed annual returns of 2.4% and 2.2%, respectively, upon policy maturity. The Plan offers guaranteed life protection up to 101% of the total premium paid.

Mr. Patrick Wan, Managing Director of BEA Life, says, “In today’s low interest rate and high-risk investment environment, the 2-Year ValueRaiser Insurance plan offers our customers a guaranteed return as well as five years of life protection. The Plan enables them to enjoy steady wealth accumulation to achieve their financial goals with peace of mind.”

The minimum annual premiums of the USD Plan and HKD Plan are US$6,000 and HK$48,000 respectively. The application process is simple and easy, and no medical examination is required for insurance up to an annual premium of US$1,000,000 or HK$8,000,000 per insured person.
