Chinese banks to offer preferential services for military personnel

ICBC, Bank of China and the Agricultural Bank of China are amongst the lenders offering discounted services to armed forces.

Ten banks in China have inked a deal with the Ministry of Veteran Affairs to roll out preferential services for military personnel and veterans, reports Xinhua News.

Participating banks include the country’s mega-state lenders Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, the Bank of China and the Agricultural Bank of China. Said banks will offer prioritised, quality, and discounted financial services for military personnel and their families, military retirees as well as other eligible beneficiaries.

Beneficiaries can apply for special bank cards that will allow them to have exclusive and fast-tracked services in bank branches and various fees.
