HKMA warns of fraudulent website

No, www.winghggroup.com is not the official website of Wing Hang Bank.

The Hong Kong Monetary Authority alerted members of the public in Hong Kong to a fraudulent website with the domain name "www.winghggroup.com". HKMA said the website looks similar to the official website of Wing Hang Bank, but the bank has clarified that it has no connection with the fraudulent website.

Wing Hang Bank has reported the case to the Hong Kong Police Force for further investigation, according to HKMA.

Anyone who has provided personal information to the website or has conducted any financial transactions through the website is advised to contact Wing Hang Bank at 3199 9188 and any local police station or the Commercial Crime Bureau of the Hong Kong Police Force at 2860 5012.
