HKMA warns of fraudulent website

Some fraud is pretending to be HSBC.

The Hong Kong Monetary Authority warned members of the public in Hong Kong about a fraudulent website with the domain name "https://hkhsbconline.com/".

The said website looks similar to the official website of The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited. The bank has clarified that it has no connection with the fraudulent website.

HSBC has reported the case to the Hong Kong Police Force for further investigation. Anyone who has provided personal information to the website or has conducted any financial transactions through the website should contact HSBC.
