HSBC Singapore to move HQ to Marina Bay Financial Centre

The firm targets to occupy the 140,000 sq ft office by April 2020.

HSBC Singapore has announced that it will be relocating its head office to Marina Bay Financial Centre (MBFC) Tower 2 found within the Central Business District as it pushes for rapid growth plans.

The bank will have signage rights to the building and will make substantial investment in the new workplace.

“The decision to move to MBFC was the logical next step in our growth strategy and will enable us to further service current and future clients,” HSBC Singapore CEO Tony Cripps said in a statement.

The new headquarters will occupy approximately 140,000 sq ft over the top floors on the 50-storey building. Fit-out work is expected to commence in H2 2019, with target occupation by April 2020.
