MUFG Bank to invest in NTT Finance Corp's green bond

It will be used to finance sustainable green building projects.

MUFG Bank will invest in the NTT Finance Series 14 Unsecured Bond, a green bond issued by NTT Finance Corporation, the bank announced in a press release.

Funds raised by the bond are to be allocated to loans to NTT Urban Development Corporation, which plans to invest in projects related to sustainable green buildings. This is part of the green projects under the NTT Group Bond Framework, according to MUFG.

It will also be used to refinance existing investments connected to the Shinagawa Season Terrace and the Urbannet Nagoya Nexta Building.

The bond has been verified by Sustainalytics, a third-party verification provider.
