Brankas-MPT mobility partnership grants motorists quick toll reload via bank accounts

This collaboration targets to attract new app users that will benefit from lower service fees.

Open finance tech provider Brankas and Metro Pacific Tollways (MPT Mobility) is enabling motorists to reload their MPT Drive Hub electronic wallets (e-wallets) with their bank accounts.

Through Brankas Direct, DriveHub users can select from a variety of top-up schemes for their RFID accounts.

The fusing of the two companies hopes to attract new app users who will also enjoy smaller service fees during top-ups.

"Lower service fees are part of the brand's commitment to improving the user experience within the app and making real-time reloading more accessible and convenient. We listen to our motorists' needs and act on what we can, harnessing our resources and the power of digital technology." Gines M. Barot, AVP for MPT DriveHub Operations, said.
